Bribes offered to reporters by Aamer Naeem PR man

The press and publicity officer of leading British Muslim charity Penny Appeal offered bribes to a senior British Asian reporter for drafting false accounts against Adeem Younis, founder of the same charity.

It was revealed that Pedro Carvalho of FNIK PR met a Pakistani reporter on account of Penny Appeal’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Aamer Naeem OBE and gave him classified data to write slanderous stories to bring the charity’s founder down in the battle for power between the founder and the CEO.

Research indicates that Pedro Carvalho has met – and conversed with – no less than eight journalists after the coup at the charity who witnessed the CEO removing Adeem Younis while he was traveling back from Pakistan. Pedro Carvalho is the right-hand man of Penny Appeal’s CEO and he has openly told numerous columnists that he was addressing and meeting them on account of Aamer Naeem.

Pedro offered bribes in the form of trips overseas filled with cash, accommodations and luxurious stay to journalists in the near future in return for writing ruthless accounts on Adeem Younis.

Shortly after Pedro met these journalists, no less than 3 separate publications wrote stories against Adeem Younis making accusations against him. These stories issued details of the dispute inside Penny Appeal which were known only to Aamer Naeem, Adeem Younis, and few others. A source inside Penny Appeal has shared that Pedro was tasked to meet and manage the media members who sent questions to Aamer Naeem OBE and Penny Appeal regarding the coup at the Penny Appeal.

Pedro Carvalho offered to fly journalists to in business class and agreed to personally look after them as well. He told these journalists that they should compose stories to “destroy” Adeem Younis. He told these journalists that Adeem Younis was included in corruption while Aamer Naeem was trying to preserve the charity. He strictly told journalists not to write anything on Aamer Naeem and reassured them that he was working for Aamer Naeem.

It has been publicly published that Adeem Younis was told at Manchester airport when he arrived back from a trip to Pakistan that he was no longer permitted to seek access into the Wakefield Offices of the charity and also prohibited him from speaking to anyone.

Since then Aamer Naeem is at the core of volcanic bullying, harassment and intimidation accusations following complaints launched by a number of senior officials who were threatened penny appeal.

Penny Appeal affirmed that a number of senior members of the charity have launched unusual complaints that Aamer Naeem supposedly directed over campaigns of targeted harassment, including efforts to literally force people out of the company in an effort to conceal his own leadership shortcomings.

One female staff member was humiliated to the point of tears and humiliation on numerous occasions said a trusted source at the charity.

Locks of the charity’s headquarters were increased, IT servers were removed which brought the work of the charity to a halt for numerous weeks and full-time security guards were appointed to guard the building to block anyone unofficial from accessing the building.

Adeem Younis is known as a serial entrepreneur who founded Single Muslim site at a young age and turned it into a big success. It’s claimed that the site has helped to facilitate over 110,000 marriages. In 2018 Adeem Younis won Charity Chair of the Year award at the Third Sector Awards. Earlier this year, he was recognized by then Prime Minister Theresa May for his “exceptional service to the charity sector”.
