NEET 2020 Notification

NTA (National Testing Agency) has published the official notification of NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) 2020, important dates and details of the NEET notification 2020 examination is mentioned below. The NEET – Undergraduate, formerly known as the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is an entrance examination in India for students who wish to study undergraduate medical courses and dental courses in private or government medical colleges in India. Approximately 14 Lakhs Indian students took NEET in 2019. NEET is the most popular medical entrance examination in India, students are determined according to their NEET rating or score, whether they obtain MBBS about 400 medical colleges and 130 dental colleges accept NEET. The examination is performed by the national testing agency.

Prior to 2019, the test was administered by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in association with Prometric Testing Pvt. Ltd. headquarters in the USA. NEET – UG replaced the All India Pre Medical Test and all individual MBBS examinations performed by the states or colleges in 2013. However, many universities and institutes had taken a suspension order and conducted a private examination for admission to their MBBS courses. NEET – UG is a single entrance test for admission to more than 66000 MBBS seats throughout India.

NEET 2020 Notification Details –

The National Testing Agency launched the NEET 2020 application form on 2^nd December 2019. NEET candidates may complete the application form until 31^st December 2019. The authority will conduct NEET 2020 on 3^rd May 2020 in pencil and paper mode at 2546 examination centers in 155 cities in India. This year, the NEET 2020 brochure has been published in 6 different languages. The interested candidates can consult the information leaflet at the end of this article. The official NEET 2020 website that is ntaneet.nic.in was activated by NTA on 30^th November 2019, while details will be updated soon. Details for the NEET website are available below. Starting in 2020, NEET will be the single entrance examination for all UG medical courses in the country, including AIIMS and JIPMER. The NEET 2020 admit card will be available on 27^th March 2020 for candidates who have successfully completed the application. The result of NEET will be declared on 4^th June 2020, in online mode along with the final answer code and the qualification cutoff. Qualified NEET candidates may apply for All India counseling conducted by MCI in June 2020, while the advice for state admissions will be thereafter.
